Reuben Clark is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Section. He regularly handles complex commercial real estate matters, primarily in the development, finance and leasing areas. Apart from representing private developers and companies in private sector activity, he has substantial experience representing non-profit organizations in public/private ventures.

- Representation of a national developer in connection with the development, construction and leasing of several office, warehouse, flex and industrial building properties located in the Research Triangle Park area
- Representation of a public company in connection with its facilities operations nationwide, including legal work relating to the administration of the company's commercial lease portfolio and the handling of numerous build-to-suit projects and commercial property sales
- Negotiation of the renewal of a 100-year railroad lease
- Oversight and handling of the simultaneous closing for the purchase of 44 Class A office buildings in connection with the initial offering of a publicly traded REIT
- Representation of a national federally chartered credit union on a full service basis with respect to real estate lending, loan participations, foreclosures, work-outs and other matters
- Handling of transactions on behalf of regionally based companies with respect to office, industrial, and shopping center development or disposition
- Handling of various lease work-out matters, both from the landlord and tenant's perspectives.
- Disposition by sale or lease of environmentally sensitive properties, including Brownfields designated properties
- Handling of various railroad property matters
