Litigation

Hans Huang is a partner in the firm's Litigation Section, concentrating his practice in commercial litigation, securities law, health care law and insurance defense. He represents clients in contract disputes, software licensing and distribution matters, corporate fraud, insurance coverage, securities fraud, and unfair and deceptive trade practice claims. In addition to protecting his clients' interests in litigation, Mr. Huang also counsels a wide range of businesses in all stages of development, including yacht manufacturers, local restaurants, construction companies, international computer and software companies, pharmaceutical consulting firms and nightclubs.

  • Educates the Asian-American community on various legal issues
  • Successfully represented various international computer hardware and software companies in litigation, including defending a $215 million suit against an international technology company in a shareholder derivative.
  • Obtained a judgment of approximately $1 million in a NASD securities fraud arbitration.
  • Represented a director and major shareholder in a corporate divorce, which included successfully resolving two corporate derivative suits and starting a new venture.
