Bob Riley is chair of the Energy and Environmental sections at Williams Mullen, where his practice encompasses transactional, regulatory and legislative issues. Mr. Riley structures and negotiates commercial transactions designed to maximize asset value and increase competitive advantage. He has negotiated an extensive range of agreements including, power sales and purchase, interconnection and transmission, fuel supply, transportation and related financing arrangements. He also performs due diligence evaluations relating to the acquisition of energy projects and related corporate matters. Mr. Riley has a special focus upon and is active in representing clients in the development, operation and management of independent energy projects, including renewable energy projects.
