Williams Mullen Elects New Partners, Board Members

February 1, 2006

RICHMOND, VA – Williams Mullen attorneys Gregory R. Bishop, Christian H. Chiles, Karen A. Doner, E. Livingston B. Haskell and Rachel L. Semanchik have been named partners in the firm. In addition, the firm has elected Calvin W. Fowler, Jr., Jimmie V. Reyna and C. Grigsby Scifres to its board of directors. Samual W. Hixon, III, Craig L. Mytelka, William A. Old, Jr. and Craig L. Rascoe have been re-elected to the board of directors.

Greg Bishop is a member of the Business Section at Williams Mullen. He practices from the firm's Richmond office. Mr. Bishop's practice is focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate and securities transactions. He also provides clients with general business counsel and long-range planning. He received his bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from James Madison University. He received his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond.

Christian Chiles is a member of the Finance and Real Estate sections at Williams Mullen. He practices from the firm's Virginia Beach office, where he focuses on commercial real estate and banking services. Mr. Chiles received his juris doctor degree from the George C. Taylor School of Law of the University of Tennessee and his bachelor of arts degree from Emory University.

Karen Doner is a member of the Williams Mullen Litigation and Employment Law sections. She practices from the firm's McLean office. Ms. Doner represents businesses in all types of commercial litigation matters. She also represents private employers in all aspects of employment law. Ms. Doner received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Delaware and her juris doctor degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.

Livingston Haskell is a member of the Williams Mullen Litigation Section. He practices from the firm's Richmond office. Mr. Haskell's practice focuses on civil litigation and state and federal trial and appellate work. He also represents clients in bankruptcy and creditors' rights matters. Mr. Haskell is a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law. He received his bachelor of science degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Rachel Semanchik is a member of the Williams Mullen Government Contracts Team. She practices from the firm's McLean office. Her practice focuses on all aspects of government contracts law. Ms. Semanchik also works closely with the firm's Litigation Section. Ms. Semanchik received her law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. Ms. Semanchik is a graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor of arts degree.

At Williams Mullen's January board of directors meeting, Calvin W. Fowler, Jr., Jimmie V. Reyna and C. Grigsby Scifres were elected vice president positions, serving two-year terms. Samual W. Hixon, III, Craig L. Mytelka, William A. Old, Jr. and Craig L. Rascoe were re-elected to vice president positions. Each will serve a three-year term.
