March 26, 2007
Six Williams Mullen lawyers have been named "Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers" in a recent study by
Law & Politics magazine. The results have published in the March 2007
Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers magazine and in a special advertising supplement to
The New York Times (Washington, D.C. area distribution).
As part of the selection process,
Law & Politics magazine conducts a regional survey of lawyers who have been in practice for at least five years, asking them to nominate the best attorneys they've personally observed in action. In addition, the
Law & Politics attorney-led research department reviews the nominees' credentials based on a set of evaluation criteria, including confirmation of their license and any history of disciplinary action (which would remove them from consideration). To ensure a diverse and well-balanced list, the research staff considers factors such as firm size, practice area and geographic location.
Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers is published annually in March in
Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers magazine, which is delivered to 39,000 readers - Washington, D.C. lawyers, the lead corporate counsel of the Russell 3,000 companies and all ABA-approved law school libraries.
Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers is also available to 357,000 readers of
The New York Times (Washington, D.C. distribution) in an annual special advertising supplement in March. Super Lawyers identifies the top five percent of attorneys in Washington, D.C. The 2007 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers is based on a survey of more than 35,000 lawyers across the District of Columbia.
