RICHMOND, VA – Williams Mullen announced today that
John L. Walker, III, partner in the firm's Litigation Section, was installed as president of the Virginia Law Foundation board of directors at their annual meeting on June 15. Mr. Walker has served on the Virginia Law Foundation board of directors since 2001. He will serve as president for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2007.
Partner and vice chairman of the firm's own board of directors,
James V. Meath, was also elected as a new member to the Virginia Law Foundation board of directors. Mr. Meath will serve a three-year term ending in 2010.
