Howard Gordon and Linda Rigsby to be Inducted as Fellows in the Virginia Law Foundation

RICHMOND, VA – Williams Mullen announced today that Howard E. Gordon, partner in the firm's Norfolk office, and Linda F. Rigsby, director of client relations for the financial services industry and of counsel to the firm in its Richmond office, will be inducted into the Virginia Law Foundation's 2007 Class of Fellows. Their induction ceremony will be held during the Virginia Bar Association's annual meeting in January.

"Howard and Linda share a deep commitment to their local communities, their clients and the practice of law," said Joey Smith, chairman and CEO of Williams Mullen. "Williams Mullen is proud to have two such accomplished and deserving attorneys inducted as fellows in the Virginia Law Foundation."

Mr. Gordon and Ms. Rigsby join 10 of their Williams Mullen colleagues - Donald H. Clark, Howard W. Dobbins, Robert E. Eicher, Reginald N. Jones, Thomas F. McPhaul, James V. Meath, Robert C. Nusbaum, Stanley L. Samuels, Julious P. Smith and W. Scott Street, III - as members of this distinguished group.

The Virginia Law Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization established by the Virginia State Bar in 1974 to advance the science of jurisprudence and improve and promote the administration of justice. Induction as a Virginia Law Foundation Fellow is an honor conferred by the foundation's board on attorneys, law professors and retired members of the judiciary in recognition of excellence in the practice of law and public service. Fellows selection is limited to one percent of the active and associate membership of the Virginia State Bar residing in Virginia. The induction ceremony is held in conjunction with the Virginia Bar Association annual meeting in Williamsburg, Va.
