Raleigh, NC – Williams Mullen today announced that environmental attorney
Sean Sullivan has moved his practice to the firm's Raleigh office. His practice involves auditing and compliance regarding all of the major federal environmental statutes. He also represents clients involved in toxic tort litigation as well as CERCLA information requests, response actions, and cost recovery actions. In addition to his environmental practice, he advises waste-to-energy and cogeneration facilities regarding federal and state regulatory requirements and contractual issues
"Sean's vast experience in environmental law from our D.C. office will be very valuable to us in Raleigh. He has had the opportunity to see first hand major environmental issues affecting the world and we look forward to having him in our office" said Amos Dawson, a partner in the firm's Energy and Environment sections.
Mr. Sullivan is licensed to practice only in the District of Columbia, Florida and Virginia and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Section on Natural Resources and Environment of the American Bar Association and serves as vice-chair of the ABA's Committee on Pesticides, Chemical Regulation and Right to Know.
Mr. Sullivan received his juris doctor from Amerian University's Washington College of Law. Mr. Sullivan received his bachelor of science degree in environmental science from the University of Miami.
